How Kickboxing Can Improve Your Fitness
Kickboxing is a great alternative way to get fit. If you are bored of the drudgery of the gym a Kickboxing class offers a way to improve your fitness, while making new friends and help keep you motivated.
Keeping fit through Kickboxing is very different to training at a gym as it requires intense bursts of activity and the ability to adapt to different paces with different opponents when sparring. Like running swimming and cycling the warm-up in Kickboxing is centred around cardio exercises but then we also incorporate exercises to improve your core strength, stamina, speed and agility.
Our Kickboxing classes allow you to train at your own pace but with others around you to support and encourage you, you will soon seen improvements in your overall fitness and will enjoy challenging yourself.
At Holistic Fitness we think our kickboxing classes are the friendliest in London and many of our members have been coming for many years. Of course newcomers are always welcome and we actively encourage everyone to train with each other as it is this mix of abilities that makes the class fun and helps you to progress your training.
Sparring is always done on a safety first basis and we also offer a non-sparring class for those who wish to concentrate purely on the coloured belt grading system, but we find people often come to one class and then want to join in the other as well.
